Charting the early years of Eastern Trance Music. Features Rama Chandra, Electric Barbello, Zina's Palace and many more from the roots of early Psych and Trance.

Ancient Trance Music was first played in Morocco, Iran, and India by small groups of musicians focusing on repetitive percussion and rhythmic vocal chants. The music was largely used to help induce trance state at religious or magic ceremonies. As psychedelic music began to gain popularity, new instruments such as synthesizers and drum loops were included, westernizing this very distinctly non-western sound.
